How does anyone know what's the actual disease and what are side affects? I've just googled wrinkling fingertips and it lead me straight to this site. The person with same also using mesalamine. Exactly how many side affects are blamed on the disease itself? Please God find us a cure.

Things coming from the UC are symptoms. Things from the pills are side effects. In super general form UC has one symptom: ulcers in the colon. Which in turn cause blood loss and inflammation and improper absorbtion etc.

i think anything is possible - but if that is the only side-effect you're having, count yourself lucky and keep on truckin -

Lol soyastud. I never felt lucky till I joined this forum. I'm grateful for the small horrible things I've endured compared to most in here. For Some one like me, these small things are still huge but not in conparison.. It's crazy!! I came here feeling doomed.. And left feeling lucky. How sad. If I ever see a cure I will think of every single one of you! I will celebrate for us all.. As I'm sure many others will who have shared their battle. Idk why, I just feel something good will come..

Mine only wrinkle when I am in the shower. They do get wrinkled quickly which I find odd.
