prednisone and psoriasis

i am on 30 mgs of pred for flare but my dermo said never take steroids with psoriasis...what will it do?

Is your major problem psoriasis or UC flare?

Did you not discuss this with the doc who put you on the pred?

Are you also on rectal meds?

What dosage of the pred did you start on, and when?

usually psoriasis is my major problem but remember, this is my first major flare up in many many years, so my dermo had a fit last month when i was on prednisone for an allergic reaction, but she doesnt know i am on it again...i have NO choice !!

i started on
40 mgs a day and now i am down to 20 mgs a day and no blood or mucus in last 2 days ! yea !!!
