DBwithUC, it only happens every so often. I had eggs w veggies for dinner and then the rest of the box afterwards. I don't get shaky, but my heartbeat speeds up a little, possibly a little dizzy, like I want to roll my head to the side if I'm sitting in a chair. Then within 45mins I went to bed.
ActiveUCer, I'm not sure about
either of those tests, but I will look into them. On my Metametrix lab test, my Elastase 1 levels were 180, which is fairly low, indicating pancreatic insufficiency. I usually do my blood work every other month or so, and always do a fast before the blood test so we can check my glucose, serum levels. On one test they were very low, 74 (70-100), and from that one blood test my doctor made a shorthand guess at me having hypoglycemia. My sister has this and did a lot of testing for it.
Serenity, by crash, i mean that this rush of energy is gone away and leaves me feeling tired and yucky. Not a good feeling.
InSoFla, yikes, I think i've had similar reactions when not having food for a while. I usually eat every few 3 hours for this reason, and that I get hungry. I ate lunch at 2, had some sugar around 5, had my dinner at 6 and for dessert finished the box.
I think I just push it all I can with sugar, I've learned GF isnt necessarily better and that rice and other grains can actually have a higher glycemic index than wheat or sugar.
