I gave a few hefty college tries with helminthic therapy over the years without major success, but here's a very recent article on an experiment on monkeys:

Dear Probiotic; but then we are not Monkeys are we?
Sorry but i don't trust the experiments on rats and other animals anymore. If someone posts on this forum saying something helped them then i might try it. But no more animal studies experiments.

Conquer UC- I hear ya! I used to be so optimistic about
helminthic therapy but it never panned out for me and is not even on my radar anymore- even though I tried multiple types. Granted, I have PM'd with a few people (humans , not monkeys) who had fairly dramatic and clear-cut results and participated in active worm therapy forums- like anything else it is another one of those frustrating hit and miss things, like meds (or spinach and sunflowers or coconut macaroons, ****). Just passing it on for those who might be interested.

Oh that's good that some people had success with the worm therapy....i thought it was purely experimental.
And yes everything about
this disease is hit and miss...heck sometimes you don't even know if you are 'hitting' or if the disease just decided to stop infringing on your life.
Hope you find something that works, too.
