Itching itching itching

Ok so last night out of the blue I started itching all over. No rash or visible signs at all. Itching on hands, feet, body. Face is ok at least. Been on the Imuran over 30 days now. Could this be causing the itching? Still on Asacol, and have just got my Prednisone taper down to 12.5 mg oer day(started 2 days ago at this lower dose). I also take pills for Thyroid and Blood pressure but have been on those for years. I hope it is not the Imuran since I am doing well at the moment UC wise. Should I call my primary care physician or my GI? Took some benadryl and it helped only a little bit. I also took some nyquil last night since I was having some cold symptoms the last few days.

I am scheduled for a GI visit Monday. I have called them and am waiting to hear back so maybe I can get in sooner. I feel and look fine aside from the itching

Numbness in fingers and toes is due to the Imuran.

Hope that's the case with me. Itching has not been too bad today. It was bad in the AM but has eased up this evening.

Itching is due to Pred taper. I get to 25 mg and break out around my nose. At 5 mg, it is all over chest, back and arms. Can only see it when I get out of the shower, but it itches all the time. It will ease up after a few days then hit again when I taper again.

I only started noticing this recently on myself.... I have had itching on shoulders and on hands and noticed the redness coming out of the shower. Its not bad at all its very minor but I am also tapering pred right now.

Ok so got my results back and my PCP said my ast and alt levels where high but not a lot. He sent the results to my GI. I don't know the exact numbers. I wonder if I should stop the Imuran until Monday when I have an appointment with my GI. I hate to stop since I am doing so well bathroom wise. Probably the best I have been since I was diagnosed with UC. I have heard that levels are often elevated slightly the first month or so when getting on Imuran.
