I just posted a thread of upper stomach pain..... https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=38&m=2592183&p=1

Now I'm having a slight fever and the pains still there!

I usual take 30mg or 25 then taper from there.

I really hate this feeling.

Why don't you just try calling the doctor and ask?

I still wouldn't be taking it without the ok. If you start and don't have enough of it and he doesn't ok it then your going to be in trouble.

ya, if it was me, i would probably use a little pred - what amount were you thinking of ? i would try a very small dose and see if it helps - you know like maybe 5 mg -

you should probably mention it on monday but i don't think it's bad to start on your own. you're just gonna run out and he's the one writing the prescription. if he doesn't think it's okay, well there's no harm in stopping after a few days on it.
