I've been fighting and fighting with arthritis ever since my colectomy (end of August). All of a sudden on the 19th, it seemed like an invisible switch flipped my body and I'm not having any problems (knock on wood). Some slight finger stiffness and swelling, but nothing like I was experiencing before (like not being able to get up, walk normally, etc.).
It could be the third dose of Humira kicked in, it could be my body finally adjusting to no Prednisone after three weeks, or my body may be busy fighting the peristomal pyoderma gangrenosom (auto-immune skin ulcers around my stoma). I'm just very happy and hope it stick around. I can work out again!!
