I would just like to post this info to help people who have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I have been healed (withut meds) of this condition. In as much a very recently I chose to take part in a screening where (I am told) there would always be evidence of colitis - as (I am told) you can never be completely cured even if it appears to be in remission. Well, my test came back completely clear. I have been down the route of Asacol, Steroids etc. and one doctor even said I would have to be admitted and given drugs intraveneusly. Well for 2 years I have not had a trace of this problem. The cure was rather extreme, insomuch as I went on a very strict diet - cut out ALL SUGAR (even fruit and certain root veg were limited).I used goats milk, cheese and butter. Only bread without yeast/sugar.No alcohol ouch! Its not a diet I would like to stay on for a very long time, as I lost a lot of weight. I also took various supplements to protect and support the bowel. I fell 'off the wagon' once as the diet was tough. I also did relaxation, because I think one's mental state has a lot to do with the problem. Basically you can help yourself a lot by following a diet designed to cure candida - be patient - it takes a while for these problems to occur and a while to get rid of them. This regime is not for everyone, my sister has had this problem for 20 years and relies on all the meds. It can heal you, but you have to believe in what you are doing - here is the mental thing again! I am now working on lowering my cholestrol (without meds) will keep you posted!
