On the 31st of Jan with some high hopes and my first real consult with a GI, after 6 years with this condition, (mild proctitis) responding well (apart from a few side affect concerns) to pentasa 1g supp at night, hoping to try alternate therapy in hope of getting off pentasa. Maybe butyrate enemas, or FT. I believe I would respond to alternate therapy because of my mild symtoms, but I'm not the Dr.. I guess I'll see.

I loved Sydney. Hated the 13 hour flight there, but loved it. Never felt better than the 2 weeks I spent in Australia. I always wondered if it was because of the grass fed beef I was eating or just that we were on vacation!

Information off a decent GI for the first time since being told I have proctitis. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try a few things thy might help.

I will for sure. One thing I'm interested in is NAG glucosamine. It's listed as one o their treatments
