I got the job!

After 3 rounds of interviews in about 3 weeks, I was offered the position! It is about a 20% pay increase from where I am now, and an in-house position so I will be getting OUT of litigation. I'm sure it will still be 10 hour days, but at least it will be for a more decent salary...and they have 2000+ employees so I have some FMLA protection and they have excellent health benefits. So that's exciting. Maybe I won't have to pay $415/month for the Asacol anymore (did everyone notice the price jump? I had been paying about $385 at Costco).

This is totally UC related, because it means I have some better job security and I can stop worrying about being in a place where, if I get stuck on a toilet, I don't have anyone to cover for me.

VERY glad to hear this! I know you've had concerns about your career position that you've vented about on here. Anytime the edge can be taken off of our day-to-day life it's a benefit. Good luck with your new position... you sound like you deserve a good situation like that!
