OT - things are going good!

I'm so glad that things are falling back into place. I've had a VERY stressful 2 months. It has been crazy!

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer, he has his voice box removed, released from the hospital. Than re admitted to the hospital for breathing issues. Then sent to rehab. He's finally going to be released this Friday. But in the meantime we have been going over to his house and renovating his room (he is a hoarder). We got done with that so hopefully he doesn't have a cow when he sees it!

My 17 year old daughter was suspended from school for 180 days due to carrying an illegal substance to school. We are appealing the review boards decision, but in the meantime she is staring an alternative school tomorrow. During this time though, she had an emotional meltdown and punched a wall and broke the 5th metacarpal of her right hand (she's now in a cast).

I just recently had a bunionectomy of my right foot so I'm in a boot and using crutches.

And in between all that, I had my Remi infusion, a bday and than a bday party.

But I'm sighing with relief because its all slowing down for me and things are looking up! And can you believe that not ONCE did my UC rear it's ugly head....or even if it did, I was too busy and distraught to care! Lol

I just wanted to thank you all for being there for me and offering kind words and words of encouragement...you guys are awesome! :)

No other secret...just the Remi; which has been my miracle med! :)

Sherry... certainly awesome to hear you're doing much better. hope your dad is accepting of his newly renovated residence. How is your g'ma about the changes?

Hope your daughter's able to make positive changes while going to her new school...and that her hand heals nicely. Was it her dominant hand?

How long in your boot and on crutches?

It (obviously) really stinks you've been through so much, buy yay, yay, yay that your UC has been in control. Remi is obviously good for you!
