Hospitals that perform fecal transplants in or near IL?

My 79 year old mother has been suffering from C Diff since she had nissen fundiplication done 3 months ago. She is currently at Barnes Jewish hospital in St Louis and has had top doctors treating her with antibiotics with little success. I would like her to try a fecal transplant but Barnes does not do them even though it was one of their doctors that suggested it. Can anyone recommend someone in IL (she is from east central IL) that does fecal transplants? I have found hospitals in WI and MN but it would be nice to find somewhere closer to home.

 Not sure about the validity...very similar to the situation you are in...found this one in the net. Please check it out. The person mentions they got it done at Peoria. Hope this helps...

This website gives a running list of clinics/practioners that perform fecal transplants for c. diff. and other bowel problems. Hope this helps!

The blog mentioned in the post above lists Dr. David Rubin in Chicago. I do hope you find someone soon. Please let us know! (We are hoping for one for my son soon and are likely going to travel quite a distance for it)

Thanks for the help! I will check to see if I can find a Peoria hospital that will do it. Right now she is on antibiotics and finally getting better. However, I fear that once she is off the antibiotics it will just come back so I want to be prepared.
