"Ran over by a freight train" Not literally

Yep I got hit with the flu sure and fast at midnight last night. I didnt sleep a wink and had all the classical symptoms. Weak, cold, nausea and yes I was dry heaving for hours not to mention my colon was cleaned out by 6 am completely. I had to work today at 6:30 and have no idea how I summoned the energy to get up and drive in to work feeling horrible but made it 2 hours and went home. Normally I wouldnt do this but had to open up a huge building or the town wouldnt operate. I saw my boss and went home. How true is the old addage " things can always be worste".

Going back to sleep, take care all. I wouldnt wish UC on anyone nor this flu I got.

OMG, I feel like I got run over by a freight train.

I would suggest updating the subject line to "Feel like ran over by a freight train."

I did almost think you got run over by one :p. Anyways. Noe-citron works for me very well. So well in fact I can actually function and work. But if your boss allows you to rest that is of course the best.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was doing much better and have been since sleeping for 24 hours straight and after waking that next day I got up and actually ate something. I did bring a gallon of srping water and put it next to my bed before climbing back in bed that morning returning from work. I knew once I hit the sheets I would not be existant for at least 24 hours based on how bad I felt so had to have that hydration ability without having to crawl to the kitchen. It is Monday and my energy is almost back to normal but still have lingering effects of the flu mostly being sinus.

This one reminded my of when I was younger and crying for my mom being soo sick. I really have not been that sick in a long long time. They say you got the flu when someone tapes a 100 dolar bill to the front door and you are too sick to get up and go get it. Well I gues that was about how I felt but still have no idea how I got up to go to work that am and my wife doesnt either. I guess sheer will and the fact that I knew that I had to. Crazy stuff..
