We're getting controlled. *OT*

As we go on in the future, there is more and more control in everything we do.

For example, they introduced red light camera that take pictures when you burn a red light, speed camera, cameras fu...king everywhere, man.

This is but one facet of control, but it's one I want to vent and talk about it. How is it legal and who the f... approves this bullcrap. If I'm supposed to get a ticket for a red light, well I want it to be from a cop, not from a camera.

Let's create a situation:

You're following a few cars, it's green light, you're about to pass through the intersection, all sudden the cars you were following slow down drastically and you get stuck in the middle of the intersection while the light is changing from amber to red.

The camera then takes a pic of whatever is there and you get stuck with a fine of whatever. How the f... is it just? We need to take into consideration the circumstances of the situation. A cop on the site would understand something like this and wouldn't pull you over.

In other instance, let's say you have a medical emergency and burn a light and you receive a ticket in the mail. What are your options? Go and try to get it removed at the court, waste your time...ridiculous.

I'm telling you guys, as we go on, stuff we do are getting more and more controlled and under observation.

Heck, I just received a call from a random car insurance company and they want to offer me a competitive price if I switch with them. They also knew my renewal was coming up. How the f... did they knew that, I never dealt with this insurance company.

This is some messed up crap, this kinda of stuff need to stop.

Oh and by the way, I didn't get a ticket from a red light camera or anything, I was just thinking about it.

yeah man! How is this acceptable. We're voting to appoint presidents, we should vote for bullcrap like this also.

We've had them in our city for many years. the red light cams and speed traps...I have no problem with them.

Basically, speeding is speeding...and I'm guilty of the deed, but never ticketed.


I have a problem with bad traffic flow caused by stupid light sequences and those freaking bright LED signs, headlights and whatever other lights burn the hell out of my retinas while driving.

Let's add the drunk and impaired drivers...and those who text while driving.

Oh, don't get me started on the salt on the roads all winter...they salt dry streets here...slippery as hell when they're wet.

I don't care how many cameras are out there for security or traffic violations. But it certainly sucks if people are set up to be ticketed without proper signage. Whlle we have the option to fight tickets, it's possible that some day those cameras might help us out as well.

Pick up any history book, people have always been unhappy with some form of government, and have always felt Big Brother was watching. It's not gonna change. It's not a new thing. It's been going on for thousands of years. While some decisions are totally asinine, most are there for our safety. If people know there is a camera watching them, they are less likely to commit a crime. Sure, mistakes happen, you might get caught in a red light. However if you get caught in that situation you were probably following too closely in the first place. That camera isn't there to catch things like that. Even if you are in an emergency and you run a red light or speed, you can still get a ticket, and lots of cops will still give you one. Their logic, if it's that much of an emergency call an ambulance, they feel if you are running red lights and speeding for an emergency you are creating the potential for another emergency. And that's true. If you have a wreck because you are speeding to get a sick person to the hospital then you have now slowed yourself down, caused a wreck and possibly injured other people. See the reasons while even though people do rush for emergencies, and I am not saying I wouldn't that it's not safe and is still breaking a law. We have laws to protect us, we can't pick and choose which ones we follow.
