The Prednisone has definitely affected my vision now. These headaches are making me nuts & I may go to Walmart vision center tomorrow just to get it fixed fast.
My question - will the vision continue to change? I am still on 15mg a day -

Pred is notorious for affecting the vision. It can also cause bone loss and glaucoma.
When I was on steroid enemas for a year, I actually had glasses with bifocals. But I never wore them (call it a vanity thing) lol. When I finally got off the steroids, my vision improved. Now I just wear reading glasses but my far vision improved.

I am on prednisone and am experiencing a lot of vision/eye problems. My eye doctor is thinking my UC is causing inflammation in my eyes, I never asked specifically if it could be the prednisone causing it.
The eye doctor has checked my vision at least five times in the last two and a half months. He is paying pretty close attention which is reassuring and worrisome at the same time. The last check I was at 15 mg of prednisone and the inflammation in my eyes was decreasing.
When I went down to 10 mg my eyes got worse again (pain, redness and increased bluriness)(my UC symptoms are getting worse too), I phoned Friday afternoon and the eye doctor has me on prednisone eye drops again.

20/10 vision all my life, commercial pilot flight instructor.
2006 diagnosed with UC
Now I drive with glasses because of prednisone.
Anemia was fun too in Jan, I had visual aura from bright light that essentially blinded me for an hour everytime because it was in the center field of vision.

I was able to get an appointment for tomorrow with my eye Dr - so I'll update!
