So I've have a rough couple of weeks with this flare, some of you may have read my last posts about not being able to see my GI and debating on a prednisone prescription from my fam. doc that I didn't want to take but felt like I was close to caving and taking..

well I went from 6x, to 4x, to 3x and now 2bms only today... fingers crossed. It is still very very soft and some urgency, gas and blood (although less). But it has been a big relief to have even a few better days.

Have been able to work my full days with my preschoolers without incident and although energy is still low I feel a bit better.

I do have a apoint with a replacement GI next monday just in case.

Just wanted to share some good news for a change... Hope others are having a good day too.

yes been on Salofalk enemas (4g) nightly since last september. Plus the 4 Mezavants daily.

I had started weaning to every 2 then 3 nights in Dec/January but it must have been too soon as that corresponds to the re-surgence of this flare.
