I need to complain a little....OT

I have trigger finger - this is where the tendon sheath of your fingers get tight, causing the fingers to lock in a bent position because the sheath "clamps" down on the tendon. I can be very painful. I had my first trigger release surgery on the pointer of my left hand about 2 years ago and my right pinky a year ago.

I still have some minor issues with my pointer, but I believe that was because my tendon was actually frayed. But recently I am having issues again with my pinky. There is no sheath around it anymore but I think that I have a build up of scar tissue now. It's been so sore and swollen for the past few months that it makes having to wipe my tush difficult! I can't bend it fully and I can't lift it. When people want to shake my hand I cringe because it hurts. I am seeing my hand surgeon on April 18th to find out what's going on.

But I just need to complain because I am so sick and tired of things falling apart on me! I want just ONE month of things going good for a change....that's not too much to ask for is it?? LOL

it's amazing how such a little thing as a pinky finger can cause so much pain, both physically and mentally !

Sorry the fingers continue to bug you. So far I haven't gotten rid of my ring finger pain/stiffness that started in Feb., not helpful when writing, etc. I hope you can resolve this soon. Do you have to hold on to hubby when riding motorcycle, or do you ride your own bike? / Old Hat (32 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

So sorry you are hurting. I don't have trigger finger, but i do have where my hands cramp up and appear disfigured and i can't bend them. Feels like a charlie horse only in the fingers instead of legs. Hope you get some relief soon
