My Colonoscopy doctor took biopsies from my whole colon, but missed taking a biopsy from the SIGMOID section. After, he came to see me in the Recovery Room and said 'my colon was very inflamed' and 'had a bad rash'.

How often do UC folks have Follow-up Colonoscopies?

I didn't have one for 4 years after my initial diagnosis but that was because I feel good. I personally wouldn't have another one for a year at least. Others much more frequently then I do.
