I am supposed to go for my 8th(and last) Remicade dose on May 2. Doc wants me to go one more time. My colon shows improvement but problem is still in the rectum, which is why the only thing I have left is urgency. He gave me Entocort which didn't help, so now I am taking 2 canasa suppositories a day, 6 asacol. I can't hold in the enemas.
Now my problem is, even though I am 68, I only had minor aches and pains that comes with age. But the last month or so, I am in much pain in my left side and left hip area. When I stand after sitting I can barely walk. I get out of the car and have to stand for a few minutes to let the pain ease a bit before I can walk. The first steps I take are extremely painful. As I walk the pain becomes more bearable, until I have to sit and get back up again. I take Tramadol(he gave me) when I am going to have a busier day than norm, otherwise I have been taking 3 tylenol at a time.
My question is....could this pain be from Remi. and if so should I tell him I don't want that last dose, and let my body start to heal? And my last question is ...will this pain go away of it is from Remi?
