I have been in a flare on prednisone tapered to 30 a week ago.  On humira as well.  have a fissure too.  Here is what I dont get my intestines will gurgle in my sleep and then when I wake up I go to the bathroom and its all loose and blood. Then after lunch I go to the bathroom and its normal stool.  I have been taking miralax and a stool softner and a flinstone vitamine so i dont become anemic.  But why does my stomach gurgle in my sleep and loose stools like bombs and then be normal later on?

and bleeding with the loose stool as well.

Seems to me that the weird and often very loud gurgling is from your uc. It sounds like a jungle down there for me sometimes. You must have some pretty active inflammation to see blood, like you said flaring.

I take miralax because of the fissure that was caused by constipationn.

I'm like this too. bleeding with loose-ish stool and then finally a normal bm. I'm going to try medicating my bum 24/7 from now on and see it if helps at all. enemas, foam and suppositories. I feel like my rectum is giving the rest of my colon a hard time so I need to keep it treated and under cover with some meds. you should try combating the gurgling and blood with increased rectal meds too.

You should try adding in a fiber supplement for the constipation instead of the laxative. A laxative would be making my stomach gurgle and cause loose stool. Plus you don't want to become dependent on them.
