Oh hateuc you have no idea. I have an excel spreadsheet where I log it all. I keep track of medicine changes, odd food choices or events/trips. Significant work events or stressors, etc. Mostly just poop formation and blood evidence. As I tell my fiancée..."never before in the annals...or anals... of human history has so much s**t been logged so meticulously"

Dude: Got you beat if I figure only about 2 movments a day I am up at around 21000,that is counting
a few years of remission. If I figure 6 a day then up around 60000.

Levi, collecting the data is easy enough, although the real question is have you got any meaningful insights or questions answered based on your data collections?

I ask because also collected and graphed such data for many, many months, but I ceased at the time of my flareup at the beginning of this year. Just too sad to see entries of 20 or 16 for a day. I don;t know that I gleaned a whole lot of information from the data collection and graphing, other than the false hope that a couple consecutive really good days gave me sometimes that things were getting better or something lol. Just turned out to the be usual ebb and flow of uc, gets a little better, gets a little worse, repeat infinitely.

lol, sounds like the tracking has become commonplace -- I'm constantly checking my poop; texture, how many times I go -- oh heck all sorts of things. Love the spreadsheet though, I might have to do that.

that is awesome!! i do keep a written journal of bms/food/supplements but i just use a simple tally system. there's no way i'm going back to count it either.

Well I've had softer bowel movements for about a week on and off. Yesterday afternoon I saw a very tiny sliver of blood on the TP. Darn it all to hell. I know I'm committing mass self delusion by holding to a string of hope by pointing out that I've been drinking a ton of water due to being in the heat a lot this past week, causing looser stools, causing aggravation around the exit point, causing blood. Chance of that, about 0.01 pc probably.

I've been on DMSO, and if you've read my threads on it you know it gave me a bad taste in my mouth that slowly went away as I healed. It seemed, and resident chemist Old Mike echoed this, that as I healed, there was less reaction of the DMSO and hydroxyl radicals causing less of the smell. Well, I feel I have inflammation now and the smell has not returned. So, either the theory is wrong or it's just not working anymore.

Anyway, I was at the pool at 4 PM yesterday and noticed I have to go. Stayed a bit, got home at five and pooped, saw the blood. Got in the tub, took a bath, sat in a daze for thirty minutes, pounded my fists into the side of the tub till my knuckles hurt, and so on. :.(

I'm sorry Levi...I feel your pain.

I haven't seen a real solid poo myself in over two months. Blood every time.
