wheat grass powder vs pysllium husk

Hi Guys,

Ive been trying organic wheat grass powder lately and have been having some decent results although couldnt really stop me going into a mild flare recently, but ive been feeling ok. Has anyone tried pysllium husk or even better both?

Anyone got any advice on which one they think works best?

I take psyllium seed powder which has been a big help for increasing bulk and decreasing urgency.

Every night I take 3 heaped teaspoons of psyllium seed powder in apple juice with VSL3 and a teaspoon of cinnamon.

thats sounds ideal for me reducing urgency, as thats my main issue im trying to resolve. thanks for this

Hey Derby County (Rams fan huh?)

I think Wheat Grass and Psyllium Husk do quite different things don't they?

Wheat Grass: Nutrition, anti-oxidants, vitamins & minerals, alkalizing effects

Psyliium: for Fibre/bulking

I def keep taking the Wheatgrass, psyllium if you need that bulking effect

I recently created a thread on wheatgrass, I see on blood when I see green and neither did subjects in the study.

Most important thing is how fast it builds blood and when your bleeding a lot nothing else comes close. I wont us e the iron pills again they promote bad bacteria and loosen stools.

As I am rapidly coming out of a deep flare from suspending my diet and partying at the start of my 2 week vacation I use wheatgrass out of bed with pysillium seed to keep it smooth and VSL3 for flavor and probiotics.

When I get out of this this one completely I may use the husk but the RS diet provides so much fiber in Navy beans I may not bother.

Dinner Salmon strip baked, side of canned spinach, side of Navy beans with mushroom sauce. Blueberries on plain yogurt.

Jimbo - yes big rams fan suprised you have heard of us... MIGHTY RAMS!!!!

i may try mixing the husk and wheat grass i cant imagine it being pleasent though :-/

Although i have noticed that the wheatgrass has alot of fibre content
