Would you take bromelian if you were still having B?

I have developed heartburn (maybe a side effect of prednisone) and now I hurt on the top AND the bottom parts of my GI tract.  UGH

Would you take bromelian, papaya enzymes, or activated charcoal in this situation?

I read that enzymes can exacerbate bleeding...Help me?

My pathologist friend read my biopsies today...no sign of the C diff I was diagnosed with...a classic UC flare from one end of my pitiful colon to the other.  She graded it mod-severe and the clinical impression from the scope was just plain old severe.

I think I'll suffer with the heartburn, BG!

It IS the pred...took my evening dose a little while ago and heartburn's back.

Good thing I don't plan to stay on this more than a few days. But, it does seem to be helping my UC.
