Hi,
I am running my first flare since over 2 months now.
Just got my blood tested after a viral fever.
Evrythings good, except an ESR of 72 and Globulin- 4.2
WBCs and RBCs are good in number, while Hb is 14.2
The question is, I am a patient of chronic scalp and facial follicultis for over 15 years.
They say its
I used to take a combination of mild antibiotics(Grissofulvin and Ciplin)
whenever the facial when created problems for me.
(Just to add that I tried evry possible treatment for this and gave up after 5 years)
So just take these antibiotics as and when needed.
I havent taken these for last 2 months, and there are too much pustules on my face.
I am dreaded to take these, as I have a feeling that taking these antibiotics
for 15 years(only intermittently, say 10 in 30 days) actually triggered my colitis
Now i want to use these meds again, my GI said, I can take these. But I have doubts....
The thing is that, off late, my colitis symptoms have toned down.
Bleeding is usually once or twice a week, in traces.
Mucous build up is reducing
Cramps are almost negligible.
Frequency is 4-5 bm/day solid formed.
What should i do??
