When I sit for a longer time it feels like as if both of my flexures hurt or at least in this area. I had this I think since I had pancolitis. My colon is pretty much healed now and I'm maintaining with Imuran. I'm not too worried about
it it's just that my body tells me it's time to rest. Does anyone else have this? Is this UC related?

What's a "flexure"? Google didn't help my cause.

That's where the colon curves. My first scope showed inflammation all the way to the left flexure. My second one this year showed it all the way to the right. And that's where it hurts. Mostly in the right though although Mr. Colon has healed off for the most part thanks to Uceris and Imuran. I still cannot sit for a long time. I noticed it yesterday and today while sitting at work. A heating pad normally brings relief but I'm just wondering why it hurts?

are you still on Uceris? Maybe it's actually Uceris doing something and not Imuran.

I only take Imuran at the moment and have solid poop.

OH YEAH?! I don't believe you! Take a pic, post it here so I can see. I'll be the judge what a solid poop is!

No pics please.... we beg of you.
#1 I have no clue how you can pinpoint the pain to you "flexure".
#2 I used to have this too, there's certain angles you can lay/sit down at to reduce/increase pain.
Your colon is probably still not healed and has those few sensitive spots, which at certain angles you can/can't feel. Does it get better/worse?

Well I haven't felt it in a while. I was just sitting a lot lately and it came back.
Somedude trust me it's pretty solid

I think I know why
I've been eating a lot of crappy stuff and it causes me to have gas. I didn't intend for it to happen but it just did.
Now I have to be good to my tummy so the pain will go away.
Other than that I'm doing well.

Totally makes sense for it to be gas. When you get it the next time...lay down and do a massage from the lower right, up, across and down. The area where it hurts (either the hepatic or splenic), press in a little, and that can help the gas move along. Sounds weird when you do it..and you can feel it move too.
Just want to add that Bentyl can help.

Sitting in one position for long stretches of time is not good for the human body, whether or not one has UC. When you're at work stand up for a few minutes every hour and also walk a bit even if it's only near your desk. / Old Hat (32 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Thanks for your advise. It has gotten a little better now.
I asked for Bentyl but for some reason my GI didn't want to prescribe it.
