Bleeding, no insurance!

I ate some cherries a few days ago. Could this have caused bleeding and mucous. I am not insured at the moment and Rowasa and Hydrocort enemas cost a fortune so I have been trying to use the enemas every other night. A few days on Hydrocort helps greatly, but due to the prices I just can't use them daily. Same with the Rowasa, so now I am bleeding worse than usual with a lot of mucous. Bowel movements are normal usually. It's the bleeding that concerns me. I have ulcerative proctitis.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Start Oral pred, don't think you have better option if you are not insured. And Bentyl to keep restroom visits in control.

Also check the cost of meds on goodrx.com, walmart, Costco and other grocery chain stores.
P.S. - Someone mentioned here that the coupons they got from goodrx were not honored at the pharmacy. I never had that issue (in NY) so may be better to check in advance.
