Thanks so much all of u for answering. I called my doc today and her theory is that my mucosa is so weak that any even a bit stronger peristalsis causes its irritation and bleeding (so this time it could have been caused by vsl). She may be right as now i'm not in a flare, not more than 2 bm (formed) a day with no visible mucus. Quincy, I take 2 asamax twice daily and salofalk enema theoretically twice weekly, but recently i had to take it almost every day. btw- do you think that there can be something as "enema dependence"? sounds stupid but i was wondering if it is possible that the frequent use of enemas makes you then impossible to taper them? i've never taken pred. i'm afraid to continue vsl, i was stupid to order so many packs, lots of money down the drain (or rather toilet)
