I keep meaning to try this as well... or at least the 1/2 can of beans every day or two.. just to see..
I have the same question - How do you cook navy beans into something edible? Or are you supposed to eat them raw like from a can that some might put in a bean salad?
I have noticed positive from Rice Pasta slightly undercooked but am not sure if that's really RS
I used to get positives from duram pasta but could not recreate it myself.
Here is why :
Buca De Beppo sells nice pans of pasta in a pesto/creme sauce with chicken. I would take home a pan and put the leftovers in the fridge to eat on for a week. Fast-food that is healthy or healthier than other fast choices or 'quick-no-cleanup foods'.
So after I spoke to the chef and bought the exact same pasta, cooked it up at home - not so good results. Years later I see it was because I was cooking a single serving and eating it
hot .
Recently the
cooled pasta is not nearly as powerful as beans - same for potatoes in my body.
I grew up eating kidney bean chili that my mother made often, however with a last name that rhymes with 'fart' I avoided beans my entire life.
I do not avoid them anymore. I will find my new chili recipe and paste it here.

do not reheat ( liked them right away but no joy )

RS diet research like the one posted above shows it ferments into SCFA Butyrate. High protein thins the mucous and they proved
RS counteracts that healing it and thickening the mucosal layer in GI tract.RS diet is so effective the Apriso free box from new GI just sits there un
opened.
-
RS number one impact option for me and within RS the number #1 food is Navy Beans- Psyllium seed powder also converts to SCFA and is effective.
- Wheatgrass is effective and was promoted by a woman with UC, stops bleeding, increases Iron
- Canned spinach is effective.
- VSL#3DS is effective at re-establishing good flora.
Last month an Irish team proved Vitamin A controls cytokines turning off inflammatory cytokines and turning on the healing cytokines.
So I constantly make chili which is high in Vitamin A and RS Navy beans. Chili peppers are high in Vitamin A.
( I
was constantly making it - not often now, I just don't need much anymore but wont stop completely either )
1 lb grass fed beef in olive oil
chopped cabbage
chopped spinach
chopped brocoli
cook beef and steam/boil veggies
combine with packet of lowry's chili
Add 1-2 cans of Navy beans
Navy beans made me gassy the first time, your flora adjusts and they do not make me gassy now - but if they did I would start out with a ridiculous amount - like count out 10 beans and that is it, advance when ready.
Recently dropped veggies from chili, in a hurry need beef for iron, chili for Vitamin A, Navy Beans for RS.
It has been 10 days since I made chili, I make enough for several lunches at work, but if I dont have the time I simply nuke 1/4 can or 1/2 can for 30 seconds and throw a tab of butter on it and its great, but I prefer to have some meat with it, chicken, steak, fish or tossed into the pan next to a fried egg in the morning.
The egg is done in olive oil and goes onto UDI's gluten free bread which might contain RS potato starch and tapioca starch.
I take no meds, no milk, minimal grains.
I seem to need less and less navy beans. Every other day is the tempo now. 1-2 formed BM's per day => Depends on how wild I go with stimulants.
