Hello,
I've had UC for about three years now. On the 16th I went in for a colonoscopy and found out I had a lot of ulcers in my colon which was a step back from my last one which found almost none. The doctor changed my medication from lialda to asacol which I took when I was first diagnosed with UC. I've been noticing the last few days that I'll go to the bathroom and have normal stool; and then go 2-3 more times where my stool is little pieces of normal colored stool with some red (almost dry blood). On the paper when I wipe, it's a light brown mixed with a very light red. Now this worries me because Idk if I'm flaring up or if it's just something I ate. I have not seen any actual blood in the toilet (bloody water) or actual real read on the toilet paper. Should I be worried?
P.S: I'm 22 and the reason for my step back was because for a while I felt fine. I started cheating with foods and essentially stopped my medication when I ran out. I learned my lesson, so please take your medication don't ever stop taking it and as always watch what you eat.
Thanks and good luck to everyone.
