Another VSL#3?

I started taking 1 cap if VSL#3 a week ago and I swear my colon is more gassy/noisy than ever. Is this something that will go away as my microbes change? I have also seen softer stools since I started taking it although that could also be from tapering cortenema although I hope this is not the cause:) . (Just finished week 2 of every other day).

Oh yeah, probiotics can cause gas and sometimes lots of it. How quickly are you introducing the probiotic, could you introduce it slower? It will settle down some, after time, but some of it never goes away.

one cap is already pretty small dose. maybe you want to try some other strains of probiotics.

I had already been taking 102 billion daily but Udo's choice rather than VSL for the past 6 weeks.
