I just made a post about
a dream a few days ago. Ate some new seasoned chicken and woke up in the middle of the dream and had to rush to the bathroom.

I remember now, I knew there was something recent about
dreams...I will be chanting to myself as I fall asleep tonight "I will dream of healthy food..." haha

Maybe it's the other way around? Likely your brain starts feeling the urges in your sleep, then based on your other memories of associating food with episodes it creates that dream.
I never dreamt of food, likely because food never really affected me, but even after this long in remission I still will wake up if I'm going to have a BM within 1-2 hours. It's like my sleeping brain has an early warning system.

that's true, but I did sleep well last night without having to get up for the first time in awhile..and the dream could have been triggered by guilt of veering off of my strict diet changes yesterday evening by eating a tiny serving of mac & cheese..it is a reminder to me how important good thoughts are

There is the saying in the South, that Mac & Cheese is a vegetable! I'm happy to see that your food sensitivity test helped you..I just had one about
a month ago from a natural doctor, and I've been trying to avoid the foods on the list, including grains, dairy, artificial sweeteners, additives, etc.

There's a Chinese superstition that if you eat or drink in a dream, it means you're getting sick. My friend's mom told me that many years ago and I always think of it if I ever dream about
eating. IDK if it's true but obviously some people have had the same experience as you!

dreams always do throw me for a loop as to why I dream some things...I've had peppermint tea the last two days after two days of hardly any blood, and I'm beginning to think that is my problem. I searched, and a few other people have bad luck with it, although it is soothing and relieving for some. My bad symptoms seem to be the same as theirs! Definitely leaving it off
