They have toilet seat cleaner in their bathrooms.... They're officially my favorite place to shop now. Every bathroom needs one of these. Nothing worse then desperately running to the toilet and staring down at a nasty toilet seat because some dude doesn't know how to aim.

Wegmans is the best for many reasons. Gluten free, many choices for organic foods and of course the best bathrooms in town and I can change my babies in there too!

And w kids is also great, leave your kids while you shop for free! When my youngest turned three all he wanted for his birthday was to go to w kids with his big brother.

I am in Wegman's probably 2 or 3 times a week. They're the best.

I love Wegmans...the bathrooms are awesome!!

Wegmans is still on the east coast--WNY, CNY and moving into the mid-atlantic regions.  I'm a little sad that they are expanding out of Buffalo/Rochester.  It was nice having them all to ourselves here.

Dang, my Wegman's doesn't have free babysitting. It's one of the smaller stores, though. I still love them - they by far beat all of the other grocery stores in my area, especially when it comes to quality of their produce.

Wegman's web site shows them on the eastern seaboard only. I know some people think everything west of the Appalachians is wilderness, but really it isn't.

I had the privilege of working for Wegmans for 8 years. Started off at 15 years old bringing carts in from the parking lot and finished as a front end coordinator.
During that time they were ranked as the #1 company to work for in the nation, and I would have to agree, although things have slipped a bit since then.
They were very flexible in working with my schedule and they even ave me a $6000 scholarship.

Their produce has always been great. They purchase from local farms when their produce is in season.

Haven't worked there in almost 10 years, but I still feel guilty grocery shopping anywhere else.

I moved some years ago -I miss my Wegmans.
When I vist back east, the first place I usually go is Weggies!

I was crushed when we left New England and Whole Foods but was so happy to discover Wegmans once we got to WNY. It really is a great store although I have to say my local coop has better prices than wegmans on some things, local produce included!

Hey you can change your baby at the Walmart McDonald's too. I saw it the other day right on top of a table in the dining area lol.

No ties to western NY and me being diagnosed with UC. I lived in WA state when I was diagnosed, and prior to that, had lived in IN, AR, and MI. I've actually been in remission the entire 2.5 years I've lived here.

I was born overseas, moved to WNY where I grew up, now live out west but I get back to WNY often and I always go to Wegmans when I do!

When I lived in Austin I loved HEB. Now I'm in a small town and don't really have any great stores. But if I want to drive about 40 miles there's Publix and Trader Joes and Whole Foods plus a lot of smaller specialty places and a fresh market. And it gives me an excuse for having a nice lunch out and doing some other shopping!

Woo hoo for WNYers! Myself included. I have several friends that work for Wegman's, and its nearly a way of life for them. Seems like a place that knows how to keep their employees happy.

Shopping list more often than not:
Large Brown organic eggs
Avocado
Peaches
Pineapple
Bob's coconut flour/ sometimes almond flour
Cashews and blanched almonds from bulk section
Bananas
Honey
Organic oven roasted turkey breast


Geez, I need to diversify my diet.. haha at least it keeps me healthy and not in the bathroom all day

Yea they have really good fruit usually, though lately I haven't been buying any because I'm afraid of eating fresh fruit. They also have awesome cheese and tea.... And it's where I buy most of my meats.

It isn't favorite place to shop anyway, nice bathrooms are just a good bonus. :-)

Never tried putting our kids in their little care center... My wife never trusts those things.

All of us living in WNY should meetup at Wegmans! I prefer the one on Amherst street, we could have a cuppa and that delicious pizza in the cafe and complain about our UC : )
