It's interesting how they are now testing it with a standard dose of 7500 ova every 2 weeks- three times what they did in the big studies 12 or 13 years ago (2500 ova). I didn't notice any beneficial effect on my own UC when I tried TSO years back, until I upped it to what was then doubke dose- 2500 a week rather than every 2 weeks, but the effect was too mild to justify the absurdly high cost. Maybe if they bring down the cost this will benefit more one day.

From my personal experience, the start is ALWAYS on a low dose (even if they know it) because everyone is so afraid of any adverse reaction (that will blot their careers). May be this is the case with T Suis too. Now that they know the response and effects of 2500 ova, they upped it to 7500 to see how that works. May be in future, they will up to 10000 or so.
In Autism arena, 10000 has been tried for 5 year olds (by those who can afford it). I don't know the effects.

Have there been any studies on worms and UC yet?

Very interesting. It looks like the just announced the study, and not yet recruiting, but I guess they will be soon. There's a branch of the study very close to me, I may look into it further. Hmmmm....

AFAIK, since 2003. I read this paper right after my diagnosis in 2007 and was intriguing.
