i just started uceris

symptoms before: mild flare- blood, urgency, 3-5 bms  day

symptoms after 3 weeks of uceris: blood gone, urgency continues, 1-3 bms a day

I have been flaring since 2008 and cant get rid of it!  ugh. I have had a couple good weeks here and there.  is it possible that I will always have urgency????

anyway, I did see some improvement with the uceris so I definitely recommend others try it if you are really suffering.

Uceris helped me for about 8 weeks and then quit. I was on for a total of 10 weeks. While it worked, I was in great shape but alas my relief was short lived.

sorry to hear that indycat.... if uceris fails I may try remicade next...looks like you are about to try simpoini, so good luck!!!! let us all know how it goes.  My thing right now is the urgency, I feel like I will b stuck with it forever.....

Have you guys tried cortifoam for the urgency? I definitely feel like it helped me a lot.

I just finished day 5 of Uceris and I've improved a lot. The abdominal pain (which was pretty bad) is gone and I'm seeing 2/3 less blood. The urgency is still there but not as often as before.

I have been nauseous on and off and I think it's a side effect of the Uceris.

I'm cautiously optimistic.
