Azathiropine and Liver Damage

Does anyone know if long term use of Azathiropine 100 to 200 mg daily will eventually destroy your liver or other organs?

It's very hard to find any study info on Azathiropine, 6mp, or Imuran to determine if they will cause damage to your organs and more specific, your liver.

Anyone have any experience with this?

From what I understand, your doctor should order regular blood tests to see if these drugs are effecting your liver. As long as these tests come out normal I don't think you have to worry about liver damage, no matter how long you take them. Even if the tests show that they are effecting your liver, you get kind of a warning before any damage is actually done. That's why they do the tests on a regular basis. If you are on the drugs for a long time you should continue with these tests at somewhat regular intervals forever, particularly whenever the dosage is increased.
