I have been on TWO Mezavant pills per day since I was diagnosed ( I believe they are 1.2 gram per ). Things were good for about 6 months but recently I flared up. I thought it might pass ( hahaha ), but 3 weeks later it hasn't.

So I went to see my GP yesterday and he simply suggested I double my dosage to FOUR Mezavant per day.

The last time I flared up my Gastro specialist told me NOT to take more than 2... he didn't say it would be dangerous to take more, just that it wouldn't do me any good.

When I told my GP that yesterday, he checked and up to 4 a day is fine, so I am going with that.

Anyone have any experience with Mezavant and if so, what dosage are you on...

I was on 4 in the beginning. Did the trick for me!

Awesome , thanks joe... I was good ( for the most part ) on 2, but this latest flare is bein an A-hole... Just started on 4 today and after posting this I did some research and 4 is fine to take so I am goin with it!!! Cheers.

My son takes 4 and I read on here that results were better when taken all at once.

Just a follow up... For those on Mezavant, have you found when UPPING the dose, you are a little more tired than normal... It could be just a coincidence, but since I doubled my dosage from 2 to 4 pills, I am very tired ( more than normal ) and strangely my legs feel like I did a bunch of squats... they are not SORE, they are just a bit wobbly. Does that sound normal???
