3 weeks after 2nd surgery i getting a rash itchy on arms and shoulders only drugs I'm on are antibiotics and only have 1 day left of them anyone ever experience anything like this?

What are the antibiotics for? Could you be allergic to them?

It sounds like it's probably unrelated to the surgery and stuff... you can try taking an OTC antihistamine (eg Benadryl) and see if it helps but I would go see your GP.

antibiotics are from surgery had infection after surgery don't think I'm allergic to them been taking them for 3 weeks just sent email to dr also just think it a little weird cause i broke out in same type of rash a few times before i was diagnosed with UC and dr said it may have been a sign of UC thanks again liz Imodium woking was able to take kids to circus today !st time out since surgery felt great besides grocery store etc

My daughter had a recent infection and took an antibiotic she has been on several times without incident. This time on day 9, she broke out in a torso and up-rash. Big, flat splotchy. It cleared after an itchy few days and a few Benedryls. Doc thought it was the antibiotic, not the UC. I know nothing for sure...just and FYI.
