Vedolizumab Moving Along

Went to my GI today was excited to talk to her about the possibility of vedolizumab over tysabri. Unfortunately she informed me that she had been excited and that it had been expected to be out in the next couple weeks, but friday she found out that its been pushed back until MAY!!!! I was not a happy camper today. So now I'm scheduling an appointment University of Washington medicine to get another opinion/see if they have any studies I could do/talk to a surgeon :/

Hi Redrox,

My daughter has started in a clinical trial at the University of Washington. The drug

being tested is SAR339658. I believe the name is vatelizumab and is a "cousin" of

vedolizumab. The clinical trial website is:

Dr. Scott Lee at the UW is the head of the study. If you have any questions I would be happy

Thanks maggiemay. I'll get back to you if I have any questions. Just hoping right now that UW isn't a waste of my time... its a hour and a half drive, but at this point I don't think there really is any better option. I've heard some great things about there GIs so that makes me excited.
