Whether it comes from the British Journal of Medicine or Dr.Mercola himself, an article is as trustworthy as the sources it can provide. Just like with wikipedia, I always scroll down to the bottom and see if verifiable, non-conflict of interest sources are provided. It's a tricky endeavor trying to filter out "right" from "wrong", since most establishments -CDC/FDA included - have products to sell. Make no mistake here because the FDA is the other side of the same coin. From antibacterials to flu-shots, the efficacy of what they promote is often called into question in scientific publications and meta-analysis of trials.
From time to time, I visit Dr.Mercola's site just to see who he's interviewing. Beatrice Golomb, Don Huber, Chris Masterjohn are all geniuses in the field of medical science and nutrition and most people could learn a lot from them.
