Feeling so optimistic today. What are you guys looking forward to in the next months?! Something positive coming up?


We just rented this awesome house with a huge yard...I was worried getting sick would mean losing my job and moving...but feeling okay today and really thinking about spring. I've been so excited thinking we will finally have space to garden! I want to make a teepee of sugar snap peas for my kiddos. We are in the south now, so I know spring is right around the corner and I can't wait.

Also so excited to get back to work, so we have a little extra money to go explore all the places around this wonderful area, and go camping on the Blue Ridge!

Then my baby girl gets registered for Kindergarten in a few months. Yikes!!!

My heart is in a happier place right now. : )

Mars, I am so glad to see your improvement! I can just feel your excitement in your post! Im glad things are working out for you!

Im looking forward to my birthday. April 1st I will treat myself to a semi-normal healthy meal! And then take a nice healthy dumb afterwards! I may even fart at the dinner table! And all my friends will clap and laugh.

Nothing! We just got back from a rushed vacation so I at least got to go somewhere before I have surgery. Now it seems to be all doctor's appointments for a month. Yay!

We're in tax season at work, so there is mandatory overtime. I will not get paid OT if I miss work for an appointment. Yay!

A guy in another department is out for back surgery right now. The company just wrote him that they'll replace him if he's not back by February 2nd. Yay!

looking forward to a new year, new projects, doing bigger and better work, hopefully making some money so maybe someday i can take it easy but don't see that coming anytime soon! nothing going on in my personal life sadly, haha. I am happy you're feeling so positive.

i'm looking forward to getting off prednisone!! i'm terrified at the same time but happy if i can do it. been on it since july and it would be nice of one of the meds/supplements/strict diet i was doing actually worked without pred.

i'm also excited for my sister! she has a new boyfriend and he's nice eye candy when he comes over pahahah

I'm looking forward to a life where I don't fear crapping my pants, being able to go new places without first asking about the bathroom situation. Looking forward to having a social life, spontaneity, and no longer being on a first name basis with my pharmacist.

In April I am going to Peru, and hiking the Inca trail!

This excites me and terrifies me equally. I booked it before my scope/diagnosis. Things haven't been too bad since getting on meds but I won't be able to keep up my nightly enemas sharing a tent with a stranger! So hopefully I'm in remission then.

TMP, omg i know what you mean about the first name basis thing. i've had the same EMT for my last 3 ambulance rides. his name is kevin and he is the choir director at the church i used to go to. he also went to school with my mom haha

I'm looking forward to hearing some good news about my husband getting a job with a gas company. They offered him the job contingent on him passing the pysical test. We'll know Friday. Keep your fingers crossed please.

I'm also looking forward to getting my skin back on track from all the breaks outs I've been having from the medication. It seems to be clearing up.
