Epidural using steroids by a spinal doctor when i specifically asked her NO STEROIDS, now,

I recently got my first epidural, the doctor used steroids when we discussed that specifically she agreed she would never use them on me, due to severe side effects when i take them or have them injected especially. So, now i break out in 'hot flashes' since the day after the epidural, every 20-30 minutes at least, i have to wet down hair and face and shirt with ice cold tap sprayer at sink, it is winter!! , not too fun...to say the least. I am in menopause so i had minimal sweating 'flashes' occasionally, but now, wow, every few minutes since DEC 20, 2013!!!! Currently got a tiny bit lessened but still every 30 minutes at max times in between. Help!!!! what vitamins, minerals, foods, etc to choose?? I'm in so much pain in my legs I am lucky to get to the cabinets to see what is possible, and I've lost my appetite altogether since then as well. Lost 5 lbs so far which is good , but not eating, bad...She wanted to do Another ? epidural today using 'natural' substances, lmbo...no thanks, i've got enough to deal with side effects for now!! Needless to say soon, she will no longer be my pain mngment. doctor!! I've had it. cry I tried the best doctor anywhere around so they claim, and she did a big no no right away. Thanks for reading my mini-novel lol. I need help, cal-mag-zinc helps so far, water, and of course fans, a/c no clothes lol. lots of common sense moves up to this point. Thanks!!

hi...why did you need an epidural? why would she have used steroids?

and do you have UC?

Hi, needed an epidural due to bad back pain (lower) bad discs and torn ligaments. She had two choices, one included steroids to have a anti-inflammatory affect along with pain relief, the other natural ingredients which I thought for sure she chose to use on me. So very sorry new to site, didn't choose correct code for my illness lol, laugh with me ok , just once. I will get it right this time. Thanks for the help!! Take care.
