slow peeing

my friend is a uc patient, he has problem in peeing, he is not able to pee completely, after his pee he again needs to go, or drops come out, any medicine or advice?

he has lost 10 kgs, and became very weak, pls suggest

He needs to see the doctor. Urine that is retained in the bladder can cause urinary tract infections which he may have. But if this has been going on for a while, he should see a urologist.

That's why God invented doctors. If he can go to a GI for UC he can certainly see a doctor for the other.

he consults one of his dr, they say dre is no solution to it, he gets some white liquid instead of stool sometimes more out of his body, bleeding is severe, he is also taking some ayurwedic medicines, but weakness is dre. he cant even perform daily activities.

pls help

Doctors are not giving any response thats why only we are searching on sites.
no effect of medicines, he has to wake up 6 to 7 times at night for motions

User, doctors prescribe medicines. We give advice about ulcerative colitis.
this peeing issue is not related to ulcerative colitis.

I suggest to continue doing Google searches, webMD, and most importantly... he needs to go to the doctor. Another doctor.

This peeing thing could be: bladder infection, yeast infection or even a sexually transmitted infection.

Or a multitude of other things.

It's residual inflammation from the UC. If the docs have tested him for a urinary tract infection, there isn't a lot more you can do at this point except try and see a urologist and treat the UC

Um no. A number of past posters and myself have had uninary problems relating to UC. I felt like I needed to go when my bladder wasn't full. Woke up in the middle of the night etc when I was flaring only to pee a small amount. Inflammation can spread and inflamed colons press on other organs. Your friend needs a urine test to rule out infection. Should also drink lots of fluids.

This is exactly the kind of question that this forum can help with.

Having said that if slow peeing and waking up at night to pee is caused by his enlarged prostate, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), then that is EASILY and quickly cured with herbs like Saw Palmetto, Pygeum, and Stinging Nettle.

These herbs have absolutely no side effects in normal people except an increase in blood levels of testosterone. (And most men will not complain about too much testosterone LOL). But maybe IBDers should be careful with it, it might encourage bleeding so ask your doctor if you are on blood thinners.

I have worked out religiously my whole life, which encourages natural production of hormones including testosterone. Saw Palmetto prevents the conversion of testosterone to DHT. DHT is what causes enlarged prostate and male pattern baldness among other things. SP doesn't affect my UC at all.

I have ‘cured’ literally dozens of men with BPH by telling them about these herbs. Most were adamantly against unproven vitamins and supplements but became true believers after taking saw palmetto.

You could begin noticing results as quickly as a week or two. It is standard treatment for BPH in Europe. In the U.S. you see advertisements on TV to cure it with drugs like Avodart and Flomax
