Skin breakout but not nodosum?

Okay so this fall and winter I had had the erythema nodosum on my shins/legs but I'm now getting spots as big as nickels and quarters on my hands and back of thighs. Also two smaller spots on my neck. I thought about bites but i'm in the suburbs of chicago in the dead of winter and i dont have bed bugs or anything. They are tender and red. I do have active inflammation/bleeding right now. Doc wants pred up to 30mg. Could you get nodosum on these parts of the body or is it something else?
