Flare up#2

Havent written up here in a while....
But flare up #2 is here....

Im extremely weak & tired.. pain on the left side of my abdomen for about two weeks.Sadly, i should've known something was wrong when i saw Blood in stool, followed by pain in the rectum. Sometimes tingly feet. I'm the type of person where i put some stuff off, hoping it's just my imagination ...
Not ready for this at all . Just not prepared
my insurance has run out, coincidentally the DAY BEFORE my appt. W/ my GI Doc. Her plan was to start me on an oral med. (Forgot the name) & slowly take me off of these suppositories.

Lol that made me chuckle for some odd reason.
& thanks .. i just needed some type of encouragement from someone & not so much

Even without insurance, there are some options. There are PAP programs that can enable you to get medicine for free through manufacturers. Please don't give up. See if she will give you the script and work out a way to get into the Patient Assistant Program - the medicine is usually free or very reduced price. There is a list in the forum resources thread that gives links to some of the programs. I am in a bit of a funk too, you're not alone - go ahead and vent :)
