Hi Fellow IBS'rs -
My Dr. just prescribed ENTOCORT EC to help bring my currently flaring left-sided/descending colon UC into remission. Uceris gave me hives.
Upon further research I find that ENTOCORT EC is typically used to treat the ileum and/or ascending colon. I cannot imagine that my GI doesn't know this, so I have to bring my question here: has anyone had success treating left-sided UC with ENTOCORT EC? I hate to take this crap if there's no proven efficacy.
Thanks all.
