Flagyl interacting with other medicine?

I'm taking Flagyl for another week bc of a C Diff infection, which I originally thought was a flare. That's another story..

But what I want to know is I get really dizzy when I take my flagyl at night. I'm thinking it's bc I take it with my other medications, one which is an anti depressant that can cause dizziness and sleepiness- neither of which It has caused in the past. I checked online and flagyl doesn't have many interactions or side effects.

It's almost as if I've got the dizzy spins from being drunk or something. It only happens at night when I take my other medicine. I need both tho. So I'm not sure stopping one or the other is a good idea. Possible side effect?

I agree with the above. Flagyl just makes me feel really gross. Also you tend to feel worse if you are taking it on an empty stomach, which since you are taking it at night I assume you are? Perhaps I'm wrong tho! Definitely wouldn't stop taking your meds, especially Flagyl (not because antidepressants aren't as important, but you have a way higher chance of your c. diff coming back - I just had c. diff this October)

Yea, I'm definitely not drinking. I have to take tees other Meds at bedtime otherwise if take them in the am and not take them he same time as my flagyl before bed.

I take flagyl 3x a day and it doesn't have the same reaction in the morning, only at night. Very strange.
