I have been relatively lucky until this year with very mild flares. However starting in the spring of 2013 my symptoms have been changing and I'm not sure if it is the UC or something else. For instance, now I have a great deal of pain around my belly button and feel very bloated. No diarrhea, no blood although my rectum feels a bit sore and swollen too. I know the bloated feeling and the rectal pain are symptoms but how about the belly button pain. I always stress that maybe it is something else new going on like an ulcer.
