How do you pass the time on the toilet?

Just wondering how everyone passes the time on the toilet. A few months ago I downloaded a solitaire (card game) app for my phone that I only play when I'm in the bathroom...

Here are my stats:

Wins: 282 Attempts: 3405
Winning Percentage: 8.281938
Fastest Time: 2:04

I've figured out that I spend a lot of time on the toilet!!

While on the toilet, I use my smartphone to play games, surf the web, listen to music, etc. My cellphone comes with a waterproof rating, should it ever inadvertently take a dive in the water.

I developed the habit of reading when I was flaring so bad. I now carry my Kindle in with me every time I go to the bathroom, and read a bit while I'm in there.

Sometimes I do my word-search book but if I sit too long on the toilet it really makes my legs hurt.

I've always taken very little time on the toilet. Even since getting CD. I am typically on it for 4-8 seconds I would say before I'm ready to wipe. In college one person sometimes called me the king of the two second dump. For the last couple of years I squat practically every time I poop.

i just sit there and wait. I notice the more I try, the less productive so I usually try to pretend i am not waiting for anything and hopefully things happen quickly...

Yes, I've been playing this really hard solitaire game -- Called "Alaska" if anyone is familiar with it.  I have an extremely low win percentage but I do get some satisfaction out of a win.

I just got a smartphone but I'm a little concerned about bringing it into the bathroom with me, although if I can keep my kindle out of the toilet, presumably I can do the same with a phone. 

By the way, I have the squatty potty footrest and oh boy does that make a positive difference for me.

I have a Vita and a Windows phone to play games on, although I was devastated when I couldn't get to download Flappy Bird before its developer withdrew it from the Google and Apple stores. It was an internet sensation and I couldn't join in! *shakes head*

Used to take my Kindle, a puzzle book, or the PSP to the toilet with me, but now there isn't really much point. I was like Levi in only taking a few seconds to pass diarrhoea, but sometimes I would need to go again a few minutes later, so I just remained on the toilet for a while.

I do miss my bathroom downtime; it gave me a break from my bedroom... :-/

I usually read ebooks on my iPad. Since my UC involves severe constipation, I also do yoga type moves and abdominal massages to try to help move things along. I'm sure I'd be an entertaining candid camera video subject.

Hmmm...I have cried, begged, prayed...
I never take anything into the bathroom with me. Never have.
In a flare, I am cramping so badly that it has felt like labor pains.
If I'm not flaring, I'm in and out as quickly as possible.

Meditate, sleep, pray, rest.. gives me a few moments to sit and close my eyes.. esp when at work.

Like above, I don't want to stay there too long, seems to exacerbate symptoms sometimes.

I fell asleep on the toilet once in my first flare. I usually read random items around the bathroom, or look for patterns on the walls and floors.

I only have a laptop, and I rarely bring this beast in. And I have a dumb phone - non-smartphone cell lol, so I don't get the net on it.

I don't usually spend much time on the toilet... maybe 30 seconds on a long one besides the cleanup. If I'm flaring I tend to just stay on it for a while though, to make sure I got as much out as I could.

I like to have my smartphone in there, and I look at lists with my goals on it and plan how I will achieve them. :)
