Humira

I'm going to be starting Humira for UC over the next week or so. would love to get some feedback on this. How well is it helping you? what kind of side effects have you noticed? Any tips or hints?

I'm also starting humira soon (insurance wouldn't cover remicade). I'll keep an eye on this thread because I want to know more about humira, too.

Supposedly, you have a choice of self-injecting via a syringe or a pen, ideally on your thigh or stomach. I hear the shot can be painful. I'm scared of pain, but hey, I will endure a few seconds of pain if it means I'm relieved from the colitis symptoms.
