-how quick did remicade work for you?
-did you encounter weight gain? massive or slightly?

hi everyone! i have mild ulcerative colitis and i was just curious about how remicade functions. since mine is very mild (about 3 bm's in the morning, once in the afternoon) would the remicade work quickly for me? i'm not experiencing any bleeding or cramps either.

Very, very slowly. I was on it for seven months with no change. I've been on it for a year with Imuran, and they seem to work together.

I have not gained weight, but I am having a heck of a time losing weight.
